I took my place in the queue at Feed the Hill food bank for Ms L a bit earlier than usual today. There were lots I recognise from my weekly visits there., all struggling to make ends meet. Next in the queue to me was a security guard who only got two shifts this week. Ms L was delighted with what I had brought back for her, she always is. I chatted with one of the volunteers at Feed the Hill, they have some capacity for home deliveries now and I talked through this with Ms L as this might be a better option for her.
