Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

Nineteen kilometres later and I was home. Nothing like Vietnam and 'this' is not a war, it's just the song lyric I couldn't get out of my head when I realised my round trip today would be this distance.
What a gorgeous morning! Glad it started early and I could get to the pharmacy to pick up Ms M's prescription just after it opened. A smiling face greeted me at her door upon delivery and she was hoping her hips and knees would ease as the day went on, due to the lovely sunny weather. I really hope she's feeling more comfortable by the time I'm writing this.
This was one of those missions which I could turn into a fab long run as I decided to tag on a hospital visit I needed to make myself. Knowing the route would take me through Regent's Park was all the motivation I needed. It was pretty quiet out and about, steady away was the plan not having run more than 14k recently and luckily I remembered my water bottle!
Heading off I wondered where I'd left my legs, but pulling on the red GoodGym jersey of joy is always going to add a special something to a run, so it didn't take too long to find my rhythm. I had a bit of a pitstop to help an elderly lady who'd had a fall. A local cafe was able to supply a cold compress and it didn't take long at all for the ambulance to arrive. Here's hoping she's ok!
A little half marathon seed may have been planted in my mind, but as it's been over 8 years since I took part in an organised 'race' there's definitely no rush :) Happy Monday everyone!! X
