The Baby Bank decided to stay closed for donations today so that they could get the place sorted post- Christmas and get ready for the New Year. Rachel and Sheila set about sorting out the baby clothes - there were lots of piles of clothes piled up on the floor which needed sorting and putting away in the right boxes. With lots of oohs and aahs over the cuteness of some of the outfits, we worked our way through the piles. By the end of the session we had a nice clear area, all ready for normal service to resume next week

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
