On what was an evening that felt more like autumn than summer, I cycled over to the wonderful Luxmore Gardens to help keep on top of the weeds.

It was a lovely hour spent digging up the satisfying roots, pruning the overhanging tree and chatting. The trees sheltered us from most of the rain and before we knew it we’d cleared most of the flower bed from stubborn weeds.
