Sarah and Charlie had a chatty 3.5k run to our old base Tottenham Green, where the rest of the gang was already assembled. Nurjehan was modelling a fetching new Goodgym jumper, that she was given after doing some modelling. Did we mention she is a model?

We also had a visitor - Daniel is setting up a new parkrun at Lordship Rec and is looking for volunteers to be on the event team. Anyone interested please email Daniel_jones53@hotmail.com.

Task owner Laura handed out tools and the gang set to clearing up some of the rubbish that had accumulated along with a lot of pruning.

Sarah and Laura were chatting when Sarah heard what can only be described as an Amazonian battle cry coming from a corner of the garden.

Upon investigation it turned out Niamh was taking out all of her frustrations on an overgrown buddleia, assisted by Julie and Alex. Charlie lent a saw to help Niamh finish the job.

All of the big bits then had to be hacked into smaller bits and stacked up. Neil then performed his specialty move - jumping up and down on the pile to make it smaller.

The time flew by and soon it was time to leave - but not before celebrating Charlie's 99th good deed! Niamh presented him with a sparkler and Nurjehan handed him a flake - which sparked off a discussion of how old we might need to be to know what that meant! We finished with a few lines of 99 Luftballons/Red Balloons, with Neil promising to return next week to show us how to dance to it.
