Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Sevan
Kash and Sevan arrived at their last mission of the year as a pair. They'd been asked to clean up the leaves in Mrs V's front garden and has separately been told that it was a bit of a litter trap too.
When they walked into the small front garden and up to the door, it didn't look like there was anyone home. There were no lights on and the boiler wasn't on. It didn't look promising. As suspected, there was no answer when Kash rang the bell and they heard the landline phone ring behind the door when trying to call Mrs V.
Undeterred, they looked around the garden and saw a garden waste bin, a black bin, a brush and a slightly broken dustpan. Along with their own trusty gardening gloves, it looked like they had everything needed to make this mission a success, whether the beneficiary was present or not.
Kash got started on sweeping up the litter in the garden while Sevan picked leaves that were stuck in the fencing and between the slabs in the garden. Hiding under the leaves, there were weeds too which Sevan and Kash plucked out.
40 minutes later the front garden looked much better and it had a new Lego mini gnome found by Kash. It wouldn't win any prizes at the Chelsea Flower Show, but when Mrs V gets home, Kash and Sevan imagined that she'll that she'll have a pleasantly surprised look on her face. Maybe she'll even remember that she was booked in for a GoodGym mission.
