A crisp Sunday morning, Monica & I met at Mrs A's house to assist in the tidying of her garden. The task was simply to cut away the bottom leaves of the New Zealand Flax but this "tree" had other ideas.

We got to work with the tools at hand & made a huge dent within 20 mins which resulted in job Uno to be complete.

Mrs A then asked for our help with moving a sand box being used by her lovely fig tree and it was found that with some brutes force, as the roots had worked their way through, the fig tree is able to grow now being out of the shade of the sister tree,

Third and most tactical task was to tackle the over grown brambles in the garden which were stopping the neighbours from fixing their fence resulting in a fox being able to wander to & fro. We assessed the area and it was found that it was all dead wood but with a game of twister bring played by interconnecting branches in the roots absence. After a few snips here & there, job complete and so we wished Mrs A a fond farewell and off to our own tasks for the day.
