I walked to Mrs S’s and thankfully the weather held out for the task. This is my second time at this mission, it was nice to see Mrs S again. She was telling me that she already has three dogs and is adopting another one from Romania! Last time I was at this mission I was with Heetu and honestly I missed her this time. This mission is definitely better with two pairs of hands as it is a bit of a Sisyphean task, the weeds grow back so fast and there is a lot of area to cover. I tried my best and managed to get the top half of the patio done. The tools Mrs S provided were great and it was a simple task but those weeds are so persistent. I tried to wrack my brain as to what Mrs S could do to keep them at bay but she has had had no luck in getting someone out to cement the gaps and she doesn’t like using chemicals. She has used vinegar on them but to no avail. I said to Mrs S that I will try to think of something but in the meantime I don’t mind coming back again to do more weeding. I said ‘we shall get it sorted’ and she said ‘when we do we will have a BBQ!’
