We had to cancel this task last week due to one task owner having a family bereavement and the other self isolating as a precautionary measure.

On our return this week there were enough biscuit wrappers finally to meet the minimum 5 kilos for sending off to Terracycle. Also we had a crate full of coffee pods to take to their new home. Previously a Maidenhead based charity, Sportsable, used to be our onward donation point so they could earn money for every kilo recycled. With their recent closure they have transferred their collection point to Braywick Heath Nursery a social enterprise which helps people with disabilities build skills and self confidence by providing purpose, meaning and structure in their lives via employment, training and work experience in a commercial business. Now through our recycling donations they will be able to convert the recycling into cash/funds to support them.
