And we are not talking about the Goodgymers !!
Come rain or shine 4 Goodgymers made there way to Fargo village to assist local and regional artists! Braving the elements and assuring the event could take place.
Nearly a complete washout this event changed location from Leamington spa to be held in the creative quarter of Fargo village.
Local Artist and event organiser Lucy assigned everyone tasks engaging and serving the people of Coventry to enjoy the bright and colourful display .
The Artists heated Alliminium to 660° and poured this into casts made from silica and sand producing a live art display !
Jackie , Katherine assisted in setting up an area for a votive offering, where you could create your own piece of Art sculpture from foil or write a message to be melted in the furnace. While Graeme assisted in talking to the public and helping to inform and direct them .
Despite the change of location and persistant rain the day was a huge success and Lucy was very grateful and happy and thanked all the Volunteers with this message .
A huge thank you to all of you for your kindness, support and enthusiasm today. Especially given the circumstance of the last minute forced change due to the weather. Your personal touches sharing the story of the event to the public was hugely appreciated by those that came, and all of us here at Pangaea. We couldn’t have done it without you. So thank you for an amazing day. 😘
