Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by York runner
I was glad to be able to get my GG top on and make my run useful for a change. I collected a short list of items to be purchased from the local pharmacy just a 2 minute walk away. I had to queue outside for a while in a stiff breeze so I was very glad of the jacket I’d brought with me in my backpack. The first item on my list was a cream but Mr I had written “or oral gel for preference”. The helpful pharmacist explained that they only had the cream and was concerned that Mr I might need it for his mouth but told me it was absolutely NOT to be put in the mouth! I thought it best to take what they had with the promise that I would explain when I dropped off the shopping. I quickly got the other few items and back at Mr I’s I explained to his wife about the cream. I was relieved to find out it was for his back! I donated the carrier bag I’d used as I’ve got a growing collection in my garage and then ran home, feeling good to have done something GoodGym-y on a Monday.
