Sheila welcomed Matthew and Scarlett to their first ever Goodgym task at Braywick Heath Nurseries. They were not phased by not being asked to do anything plant-related, but to clean the limescale off the glasshouse panes. Juli and Sheila had made a start on this task last week. The father and daughter combo made a great team, squeezing into the spaces behind the benches to scrub the limescale away with product, and give it a rinse. By the end of the session we had completed more than half the greenhouse, and everyone commented on how much better it was. It was great to meet Scarlett and Matthew, and hopefully they will come and join in more Goodgym sessions in the future

We are a small garden garden centre providing volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with support needs

We run a not-for-profit company, supported by paid staff & community volunteers to provide volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with a wide range of support needs. We are currently having a big clear out across our site, and need help moving all of the material to a skip. This will enable us to better use the space we have to expand our operations and better support our volunteers and staff.
