Mission made possible this weekend for Ms M and her garden which was in need of a little TLC. Following a quick post run refuel at the local deli cafe, Will and I made our way to Ms M's house where she greeted us with smiles and tools a plenty. Whilst I set to work on the resilient weeds prising their way through Ms M's block paving, Will trimmed the tree, teased the ivy and uncovered some beautiful rose bushes. A hearty discussion ensued whilst we cleared, "pineapple on pizza, yes or no?" A resounding no if you ask us, sorry not sorry! 90 minutes, 2 brimming bin bags and a broken saw blade later -oops- (Will hacked off more than he could handle but Ms M was incredibly kind and understanding!) it seemed our hard work had paid off. Ms M beamed at the result, she can now enjoy her coffee outside in her tidy garden and even has space to plant her daffodil bulbs- sow good! Let's hope those local pests don't squirrel away with them this time Ms M... after all, plants are our buds!
