Today's mission was to move Mrs D's bed from downstairs back up to her bedroom, now that she's recovered from her illness. We made light work of striping the bed linen and whisking the mattress upstairs. Then to unscrew the bed frame to get it through the door way. Despite Mrs D's well stocked and super organised tool shed, we were missing the vital Allen Key. After a couple of calls to neighbours, it was Pat to the rescue as he turned up with a selection of Allen keys and a plethora of helpful advice on how best to get the job done. With a vast amount of 'righty tighty, lefty loosely' finally the bed was upstairs and reassembled back in it's rightful place.

Mrs D arrived from having put the linen we'd stripped on to wash, and gave us a mini panic when she suggested we'd put the bed back together too low. Thankfully after we held the mattress up at a few different heights, Mrs D agreed it indeed right how it was. Phew!

Now for the finishing touch, we made the bed for Mrs D, with super sharp hospital corners and a 'hotel style' extra sheet and that was it, all ready for a great night sleep!

All that was left for us to do was run home, thankfully the puddles had thawed and the chilly wind died down, which just left us to enjoy some sunshine.

Well done to Sophie for her first mission!
