Three goodgym runners made their way down to the riverside expecting to meet a regular deluge of plastic and smelly rubbish washed up on the banks.

Cue our surprise when the river banks seemed to be pretty clean, perhaps it had had a New Years clean out?

Regardless, we tided what we could and then we moved onto cleaning by the roadside which culminated in two more bags of rubbish, but again suspiciously clean.

Not sure I'm a fan of people taking our litter to pick, but its fantastic to see our borough so neat and tidy!
