When I arrived this morning, Ms D was struggling (and frustrated) with one her hearing aids, which had stopped working, so alongside the shopping list (and a letter to post) she asked if I'd mind dropping into Specsavers to see if they could fix it - not a problem I said once she'd explained where it was on the Edgware Road. Thankfully it proved to be an easy and reasonably quick fix, and armed with the aid (and new batteries), I headed to the aisles to successfully complete the rest of today's task, and even avoid the rain showers on the way back.
