on a mission (part2)
6 GoodGymers made their way 4km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

Here's a load more images from Monday's run. We headed straight South and East through the narrow streets of Bethnal Green, Stepney and Mile End until we reached Poplar Harca's brutalist 60's Church which had been recently refurbished. We buffed the place up for about half an hour, cleaning windows, oiling work tops, dusting cupboards and weeding flower beds. Having been thoroughly thanked by father Duncan and Tessa from Poplar Harca we sped along the canal to Victoria Park and met the Warden who had a van full of hoes for us to start weeding with. We cleared every single weed in an enclosure that was being planted with beach trees. The wardens were pleased and we were tired. We ran back to York Hall having run almost five miles. [gallery]
