This wasn’t an entirely unselfish task as I must admit I needed to check the car was still going and give it a little run to charge the battery. Happy to be on a legal trip out, I found a parking space allocated to the Jubilee Church food bank and joined the queue of other drivers/service users. They only allow one person in at a time at this bank so the queue moves slowly but it means they are observing strict Covid rules and I had lots of time so it’s all good. Once loaded up I found the recipients address quickly, as they were Covid positive I was instructed to leave the supplies on the door step. From the car I saw that the items were taken safely inside. Mission and car battery charging accomplished. 😁
