Kash and Sevan had an early start on Sunday morning with a 9am mission to kick off the day. Mr F's wife was happy to see them, even if it was earlier than she would've liked. Grass cutting was the priority, with large front and back gardens to tackle. As was the theme of the day, Kash went out back to mow and strim, while Sevan worked the public facing side in the front.
The grass in the back garden was alive. In the front, what Sevan was dealing with was a bit more dead. Hay rather than grass. Mr F's wife explained that their son had come over yesterday and run the strimmer over the front garden. In 24 hours, it had dried out and was layered all over the garden.
It was slow going with 1, 2, 3 passes needed with the rake to do a reasonable job. The cuttings were taken out back and piled up along with what Kash's lawnmower had collected. Being on a busy walkway, there was litter to collect too. The strimmer had chopped up plastic cups and packaging that needed to be picked up. There was also a whole pack of mouldy spring rolls. Who knows how long they'd been there?
After a marathon effort, both gardens were completed in 90 minutes and it was off to the next mission of the day.
