On a bitter, and frankly not very nice, winter evening, two of Goodgym's braves souls met in Wanstead to do good and try to keep warm - I mean get fit.

An so it went, first there was six runners, then five, then three and finally only Peter and James turned up to do good and some fitness fun in Redbridge. To be honest no one would blame them. It was horrible! With the planned task at Forest Recycling Project also off due to the bad weather and lack of heating, it was an emergency task of flyering in the local area to raise awareness of the group ahead of the January fitness madness.

With Peter, cheerful as ever, the duo were quickly chatting to people coming out of Wanstead Underground station and before long a number of people were promising to check out the group come January.

With the word spread all that was left was a festive 5km around the area checking out the Christmas lights and getting into the festive spirit!
