Last Baby Bank shift of 2021! As always this vital charity was buzzing with activity with donations coming in and referrals going out to help families facing poverty. Alice and I were busy checking donated clothes for quality and storing by size, whilst other volunteers gathered toys and clothing for referrals. As always I was struck by the energy, stamina and generosity of the Baby Bank team - they do an amazing job!

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
