Report written by Sevan
Kash and Sevan were on their third visit to Mrs J and the first since Camden councillors had visited to dispose of her old "combustible" plant pots. The area outside her front door certainly looked much more organised with a tidy row of ceramic pots lined up against the wall and the (at times crumbling) plastic binned.
Mrs J was still angry at losing some of her cherished plants and spoke of taking the opportunity to challenge the councillors about what she saw as the general state of disrepair in her block. She was also thankful that she and others in her block had grouped together to save as many plants as possible, sharing pots, cuttings and compost with each other.
The block's residents had done so well in fact, that there was only 1 plant that still needed to be repotted, having escaped the council's plastic pot massacre. It was already sitting in an outer ceramic pot, so Kash removed it's existing pot, while Sevan prepared the compost in the new one. It took some puzzling to pack the new compost around the sides of the existing roots and compost. The task was still completed with 40 minutes, even taking into account a lot of chatting with Mrs J.
