Despite being told by one of the Community Fridge organisers that we had got the wrong day (yes, it really happened on April Fool's Day!), we hung around, and were met by chairperson Fran. Yes, we had the correct day. Phew! Sara, Rachel and Sheila were joined by newcomer Katie, who has used the Community Fridge and had been meaning to join a Goodgym session for a while. This presented the perfect opportunity. Welcome! We had done a mega clean only 5 weeks ago, so it was in a much better state than before. We set to work cleaning the shelves, and fridges. Jen then joined us, fresh from her 200th Park Run. Well done, Jen! With 5 of us, as well as Fran, we made speedy progress and soon had the place looking spick and span. We even managed to move the central units and give the floor a good clean underneath - that hadn't seen the light of day for a while! Sheila took on the final task of mopping the floor, working backwards to back out the door. Just had to leave the mop inside the door.....but left a muddy footprint..well, you have to leave your mark! Well done to everyone who came along, it just shows what a difference you can make with a few willing hands, and a lovely catch-up with everyone
