After a two week holiday, I was back to work and this also meant I was able to resume shopping for Mrs M (thanks to "Little" Beth for keeping up the great work whilst I was away!) Today's chat at the start of the mission was a bit longer than usual - I think we had missed eachother over the last couple of weeks. We spent most of this time talking about Mrs M's troublesome neighbours and preparations for her knee operation. As well as the shopping, Mrs M needed me to pick up a prescription for her too this week, so the first stop this afternoon was Boots. I then trundled down to Tesco with her shopping trolley to begin stocking up on all of Mrs M's vegetables. Lots of the usual suspects were required - lemons, onions, green grapes, green beans, onions, bananas, oranges, honeydew melon and carrots all went in the bag. I picked up a few other bits on Mrs M's list, but unfortunately I couldn't find any brioche rolls, strawberries or tomatoes, so off to Sainsbury's I went. I grabbed some salad tomatoes, but that was all they had to offer - last stop was co-op to try and pick off the final couple of items. I was happy to see that both strawberries and brioche rolls were in stock, and so I was able to return to Mrs M with all items ticked off. When I delivered the goods, Mrs M said she had requested another shop for later in the week to do a final stock up before she had to begin isolating. I said that I would do my best to help on Friday if I could; and with that I was on my way back to work (and to book myself in for another mission with Mrs M!)
