Ms B is recently home after hospital treatment and is self isolating due health issues leaving her extra vulnerable to Covid19.

Due to the distance up to Northolt, cycling seemed a good option for speed but also (a little!) exciting for me as the first time back on a bike since pre-pregnancy! And what a glorious weather to get back into the saddle!

Knowing that Ms B is experiencing a challenging time, I was particularly keen to deliver everything on her list even though three shops were needed to tick everything off. (The sun seem to bring out the queues again!).

Sadly I took too long shopping so had to head home to feed the baby so I notified Ms B the drop off would be later than we planned! (She was very understanding!).

Back on the bike for part 2 of the mission - Ms B’s neighbour was able to buzz me into the building so I was able to locate Ms B’s flat four flights up. Ms B was very grateful and concerned for my welfare too even though I was far more worried about her and recuperation from hospital!

I cycled back in the beautiful spring sunshine through some lovely parks including Northala Fields which reminded me of Plogging missions! I certainly feel very lucky and fortunate when seeing how others are impacted during this lockdown and highlights to me how important these GG missions are.
