James and Linda were the only two signed up for tonight’s group run…luckily they are used to each other 😂 They are also very used to the task of watering the Hainault Station planters. This time, to add to the joy of filling watering cans in the Gents toilets the light bulb had gone so we trying to fill the cans without being able to see, clearly the floor was doomed to get swamped. Water 💦

On the plus side a lovely passer by had taken some winter pansies to the station as a token of appreciation for what we are trying to achieve. We popped them in where we could find a space in the planters that are best placed to get sunlight. Linda gave these an added drop of water while James got busy with the mop.

This is a resident and station led project to create a place that is lovely for locals to walk through with planters full of flowers and everygreens.
