Park Life
16 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Westminster.
- Wednesday, 26th of June 2019
- Led by Liv Parker-Scott
Last night was the second of the 2019 LSE summer run clubs and we had 15 students come along for a run around St. James's Park.
We started with some warm up exercises before heading down towards Embankment and weaving our way towards Horse Guards Parade. After a busy start (lots of commuters and traffic getting away from LSE!) we crossed the large open square and headed into St. James's Park. We completed a half lap of the lake before stopping for some sprinting games in teams, everyone got a bit competitive but in a good way! We continued on our lake loop before heading back the way we came and arriving safely back at LSE for some stretches.
Here's a map of the route we took
Along the run route we saw the following:
- Victoria Embankment Gardens
- Whitehall Gardens
- Horse Guards Parade
- St. James's Park
- London Eye
- Somerset House
