I responded to Burgess Park Parkrun's call out for volunteers this week and signed up to do some barcode scanning.

I arrived and chatted to the other volunteers. A lot of the other barcode scanners were new or hasn't been in a while. One lady was extremely excited and hadn't been able to sleep the night before because of it!

Barcode scanning went well. The most inspiring people were those who ran with buggies. 👶
