It has been such a long time since there was any sort of run together. So this week Parkini did not contain a picture challenge, but instead was themed 'catch-up'...

It kicked off with one part of the team meeting up at Fairlop Waters at 9AM - see here for their report. Dharmesh then kept going and joined the rest of us at Wanstead Park. Like Kathryn he might have underestimated the distance to our meeting point, which turned out to be on the other end of the park as they thought! Judging by her pace on arrival it didn't seem to bother her that much, all part of marathon training!

Off we went on a loop, with Jenny leading the way at a comfortable pace, allowing all to chat and catch up on what has been going on the last few months - so much nicer to talk in person than via Whatsapp messages or Zoom chats! Vicky kindly positioned herself at the tail with Dharmesh, group run habits of tail runners coming back without thinking it seems...

Back at the tea hut the conversation flowed on, while Dharmesh refuelled (he ended up doing a half marathon today!), until cooling down meant it was time to move & go home.

Great to see all these lovely faces again - till next time soon!!
