Pasta point of no return
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Haringey Foodbank in Haringey.

It was a week since our last Haringey Food Bank mission and we think task owner Femi was feeling canneloni, because when we arrived this week we saw crate upon crate of pasta before us, waiting to be sorted into date order.
You say potato, I say potato
Being a sophisticated, cosmopolitan bunch (one of our number hails from Birmingham) conversation soon turned to pronunciation of the word pasta: is it pronounced "pasta" or does it sound more like "pasta"? Answers in the comments please if you can help us through this impasta. There were a fusilli moments as we debated the issue.
Soon we ran out of noodles to sort and it was time to call the whole thing off. Thanks to our hard work no one need go penneless.

Its pronounced pass-ta! Ha ha. We have a junction named after it in Brum land: Spaghetti Junction. Thanks for the report Sarah.
