It wasn't management feedback over items on his list that Mr T opened our conversation with today, but whether or not I could help him out with a crossword answer that had got him stumped over the weekend...it was clear that Mr T's recall of his schoolboy Shakespeare was far superior to mine, in spite of the gap in years between our respective school days!

A quick run through the list, and a couple of items that Mr T wanted specifically from Tesco, and off I went to the familiar Lidl, hoping they wouldn't still be queuing around the aisles and exits (they weren't, but it was still pretty busy).

When I got back with all the treasure, Mr T had dug out the newspaper and showed it to me - there were a few letters in the squares, but I had to confess I was still none the wiser, and so to put us both out of our English Literature inflicted pain from times long ago, I resorted to the interweb to find the answer to "48 across - Fairy from A midsummer night's dream (12)".
