Picking after Eunice!
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Friends of Charlton Park in Greenwich.
- Saturday, 19th of February 2022
- Led by Sara Brimble
Five brave and slightly chilly runners gathered after our morning parkrunning and volunteering to clean up our beloved Charlton park. Almost all of us had already completed a gg litter pick this week, Julian and Marta were into their third of the week!
I had spotted the majority of litter had been blown to the far corner so we spilt into two groups to get as much coverage of the park as possible.
We managed to collect three bags of rubbish, and had a lovely time nattering away as we got back together to walk back to the cafe.
The park is now nice and tidy and just a few branches from the aftermath of the storm! See you all next month for more litter picking.
