A lovely Thursday afternoon mission to pick-up Mr J's prescription from Boots. Despite the cold wind the sun was shining and it was great to get out the basement in which I work! I'm used to referring to a prescription as an "Rx" which I discovered a few years ago is said to stand for the Latin word "recipe" meaning "to take" - fun fact of the day! 😄

I had a short wait to get into Boots but once I was in it was a very swift collection process. It didn't take long to get to Mr J's and he quickly buzzed me up after I had said I was from GoodGym and had his prescription, "Oh lovely! I'm on the top floor, up all the stairs" he said to me through the intercom. He was waiting for me when I got to the top and I handed over his prescription package to him for which he was very grateful.

We had a lovely little chat about his doctors (whom I know very well since I work with them!), my job, vaccines, what he was up to the rest of the day and nuisance / spam callers - Mr J and I shared a laugh about the most ridiculous ones we'd both received while both reflecting it was sad that other people would deliberately scam others. Mr J's phone rang and we both said our goodbyes...fingers crossed it wasn't another nuisance caller!
