One cyclist went to help out the Baby Bank, helping to sort donations of clothes to make sure they were clean and in good condition before handing out to needy families. Some huge bags of baby girls' clothes (so much pink!) were duly sorted and stashed away until required. During the morning, many donations were coming in, as well as people coming to collect items - it's always a hive of activity. It was good see a new volunteer turn up to help at that session, ensuring the continuity of this vital service for families in need

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
