On a humid summer's evening, 7 Goodgymmers gathered at Hainault station to give the planters a bit of tender loving care. Our first task was to carry them out of the station (great upper body workout!) and give them some fresh compost. We then filled them with some gorgeous new greenery to brighten the days of the station's commuters. At the same time Linda and AJ also did some (much needed!) litter picking, which really improved the look of the area outside the station. Last but not least, we watered the existing planters outside the station and freshened them up with a few new plants here and there.

We felt like we'd already done a workout by the end of all that, but run-leader Julia had a plan in mind, and let us across to Hainault recreation ground for a warm-up and interval training session. As usual our canine mascot Lottie outpaced everyone, we will be looking out for her at Paris 2024. We finished off with a mini-circuits session of squats, planks and burpees, heading back to the station for a well-deserved biscuit to celebrate Linda's 200th task (well done Linda, great achievement!).

An action-packed session with a very visible impact, great job everyone!
