My 2nd shift volunteering with 2 BA crew and our Team Leader Laura from Easyjet. We knew there was going to be a cupcake donation from Tipsy Treats - an amazing baker from Staines who creates mocktails in cake form 🧁 Plus Laura had been donated a very large assorted soft drink supply so thought we should put on Mocktail Friday. I offered my bar tending services to think up some easy recipes, shopping list and bring my bag of tricks. What a triumph from 11-3pm I made over 60 frozen drinks and we served about 150 cups of joy, more than 50 beautiful cupcakes and a lot of great banter as the sun shone through the window of what was a very chilly week. Thank you to Cardiology for their card to us, we were delighted to bring more smiles and laughs to a sterling team of staff. We may have also been boosted by The One Show covering PW mobile bus, going out to hospitals who cannot provide a lounge space. We'll be continuing our volunteer service 3 days at St Peter's Chertsey and alternate 2 days at Ashford Hospital
