Putting curtains back expert level passed
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Saturday, 26th of September 2020
On a windy and cold afternoon I've arrived at Mrs S to put her curtains back (I came to take them down).
The handy(wo)man who put them up first time around had use quite a lot of ingenuity to artistic talent (so not a straight forward job)
Like last time I've started with the living room (let call it beginners level). After putting some lube on the railings so they wouldn't get stuck when she try to close or open them I've put the curtains back on (glad that Mrs S remembered to get some more hook as I've suggested her last time)
The kitchen was next with the handicap of being able to only use one hand as the other as to maintain the railings at all time as not to break it. Mrs S was very helpful in passing me the curtain slowly so I could hooked them.
Finally came the bedroom (expert level). Made of 3 separated rails but all 3 using 1 wall fixing... Before climbing on the chair, Mrs S and myself determined in which order she will need to pass me curtains once again having to work one handed.
Finally we put the netting back which were a piece of cake. Mrs S and myself bid each other farewell and I made my way home.
