Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Redbridge runner
Well done to Tony and Nerys arriving on time at our base at Greenleaf Rd with Julia flying in a few minutes later all warmed and ready to go! We did a short warm up and took a nice 2.7km jog around to the new location for E17 Toy Library. Helen was waiting outside for us at 7.25 as the main entrance is not open so she had to lead us through the carpark.
It turns out that Sajid and Ramon signed up at the last minute and went straight to the task but as I didn't know what time they will be there I wasn't able to inform Helen so they ended up not joining us:( Better luck coordinating next time!
Once we arrived at the task, Helen showed us around and put us in charge of unpacking puzzles and games - Nerys was in charge of separating 'flat puzzles' into categories and putting them away into specially made for them shelves whilst working together with Helen and her lovely son Jacob in the main room. Tony and myself were unpacking games and puzzles in the 'game room', coming across some very interesting items....:)
We spent a good hour as due to our small (but perfectly formed!) group there was plenty to do! We then jogged directly to the base for another 0.8km and did a quick cool down with some stretches.
Great job everyone and see you next week!
