(Rain)Watergate
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 7th of April 2018
Two GoodGymers spent their Saturday morning getting stuck into some gardening for a very sweet old lady in Westminster.
Undeterred by an initial lack of gardening implements, Rhys and Anil trowelled, swept and washed their way to making the garden patio look neat and welcoming for the coming summer days. A few plants that hadn't survived the winter frost were removed, the tiles were de-mossed and inexplicably vast quantities of rainwater were dispensed with, all with the improvised help of a bucket, dustpan and broom. Eventually, the place looked ship shape and we moved onto the front lawn, which we de-weeded so our host's rose bush could take centre stage.
All in all a lovely morning and great fun to chat to the very interesting and warm lady for whom we tidied the patio and lawn!
