After some late afternoon rain, the sun came out for the latest GoodGym run. For this run we were heading to the amazing Bristol Bike Project in Stokes Croft.
We met at the Folk House on Park Street, and after a quick warm up and introduction from Pru, we headed out on the run. This week’s run took us up past hospital to Stokes Croft and then around the back of Hamilton House to the Bristol Bike Project.
Our task was to help clear the patch of land at the front of the project, so that a new garden can be planted. We set at the task with shovels, rakes and litter pickers, picking up the rubbish and digging out the roots as we went. We even survived a close encounter with tyre-gator!
We finished the task in record time, which gave us time for a longer run back through Castle Park and then some quick circuits led by Pru on College Green. Awesome, great work everyone!
