Mrs S was happy to welcome me back and we set off to fix her FaceTime but for the first time I failed.

I ran passed her all the possible solutions I had in mind, “restart, log off her Apple account and log back in, software updates, system settings, hardware check and all the rest”, twice but FaceTime was still not working on her mac. Tried it on her iPhone and it worked fine.

As time was running out I showed her how to do video call using whatapps on her mac as she can hear better on the Mac than on her iPhone / landline. At the moment she has a back up.

I promised her to go back and let her know once I know what the solution might be.
