Really really really wanna strimmer-strim-ah!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.
- Saturday, 26th of August 2017
Two girls went to mow, went to mow Ms S' lawn! Following a disappointing (and expensive!) visit from two lazy gardeners, Ms S sought GoodGym's help to complete the task of cutting the grass in her front and back garden. Jo and Tasha to the rescue! After a friendly welcome and debrief - plus a few cobwebs to the face retrieving the tools from the shed- we quickly got to work. Jo was first up on the lawnmower, and made a beautiful job tackling the tall grass at the back whilst I donned the gloves and plucked away at the pesky weeds. We then switched roles, finishing up on the front lawn with a quick strim around the edges to neaten things up. And do we brush up?! We always brush up- even the head falling off wasn't enough to keep Jo from sweeping the victory of her 42nd good deed! Well done Jo! With the garden waste bag full and a smile on Ms S' face (amongst so many lovely compliments) we went on our merry way. Safe to say we said we'd be there, gave it everything and relished all that joy we bring :-D Girl power!
