Ms A has been self isolating for some time now, and is beginning to find this lockdown quite difficult. Her son usually helps with shopping, but is currently unwell, hence her need for a volunteer. Following a recent fall, she has suffered a back injury, and is struggling to get around.

I picked up the list, money and bags from Ms A, with instructions to get what I could from Iceland...she was very grateful for the help and didn't wish to be a burden.

Apart from some Belgian Buns, I was able to get everything that was needed, and was soon back with Ms A.

It turned out that we have a few mutual friends, so had quite a good chat. As a tribute to her late husband, Ms A had her house decorated for Chinese New Year, and gave me a 'lucky red envelope'.

I certainly hope that Ms A has better luck in the future.
