Tracey and I met the great team at Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity for another morning of smiles, tea and cheer. We heard some awe-inspiring stories from them, and helped them to learn English; for many of them this is a fourth or fifth language: they're incredible people. It was busy there despite the rain. Tracey told them that her favourite fruit was the raspberry, and after a look at pictures, they agreed! Members of the group had been on television the day before we were there, and some were off to a school later that morning to talk about their work.
We'll be back there soon, and we're looking forward to it. We'd love to see more helpers there.
