SESSION ORGANISER
Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Anji Andrews (she/her)
There's something about our group sessions that seem to signal to the weather fairies that they must send the most dramatic storms along to try to put us off. But put us off it did not and it was another brilliant night helping out at Stepney Bank Stables.
Emma and Paul ran, Lucy, Charlotte, Michael and I walked, while Rae and Seb met at the task tonight. This was a flexible session where we weren't quite sure what we would be doing until we got there and due to the dodgy weather we ended up continuing the painting we started last week.
The (very) blue wall needed a second coat, and we continued glossing radiators and starting the grey contrast walls too. Lots of hands on deck tonight meant we got loads done and even found time to talk about the big questions in life: what would a seagull taste like, and what if snakes had hair? A proper workout completed, with about ten million stretches (Seb was counting!) then it was off to check out our new meeting room. Remember from next Monday, our group sessions will meet at Stepney Bank stables where there's somewhere to get a cuppa, change, chill out, leave a bag and even have a shower if you want to! This will kick off on MONDAY.
Check out the sneak peek photo of our new meeting space!!
We had time to pat some horsey friends before we left tonight too, an added bonus at our new base.
There is a weekend chance to help out at Stepney Bank Stables too! Come along between 10:30-1:30 and stay as long as you like, just drop me a message with your expected arrival time so we know where to meet you.
I am trotting off now.
