Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Greenwich runner
On this cold and soon-to-be-rainy morning, Natalie and I found ourselves in quiet little neighbourhood not too far from Blackheath Common to visit Ms G. As Ms G had limited mobility, a friendly neighbour helped us inside, where she could explain us the job to be done: moving a riser recliner chair to a bedroom upstairs.
While the both of us were about to just lift the whole heavy thing at once, Ms G expertly advised that it should be possible to take it apart. Some trial and error, but mostly luck, and indeed, the chair neatly came apart. With the pieces remaining still heavy, we made use of our limited arm muscles (that's what you get for running...) and slowly but surely got everything upstairs.
Another job completed, we said our goodbyes and disappeared into the night, eh, rest of the morning.

Great effort, both; Ms G's seatuation looks better now!
