On a wet and frankly miserable Monday evening, three of Goodgym's finest wondered when spring was coming, swept out a courtyard and ran 6km in the process. Good work team.

With a light cold rain falling from the sky, Peter, James and new recruit Helene met at Wanstead House Community Association to do good and get fit. Wanstead House is the home for Goodgym Redbridge and from time to time we 'earn our keep' by doing odd tasks around the house. In recent years we have pained fences and cut away overgrown bushes, much to the appreciation of the staff and patrons of the house!

So with plenty of leaf fall in recent weeks the team rolled up their sleeves and spent 20 minutes sweeping and tidying the front of the house. Not a huge task but one that made the who place look a whole lot better.

With the task done all that was left was to brave the weather and head out on a speedy 6km run around Eagle Pond.

Fancy getting involved? We need all the help we can get so. So sign up for next week's task here
