This ought to be the penultimate session in getting rid of the ivy that was choking the lovely Mr J’s apple tree. There was a lot of painstaking tracing of roots back to the tree to make sure apple ones were saved and ivy ones cut and dug out. Reassuringly the tree is bursting into leaf, and hopefully bloom.
