Monday night, as always, was nothing short of great fun.

After our hello's, chit chat and pre run warm ups, we headed up towards Welling and the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice shop

After our hello's, chit chat and pre run warm ups, we headed up towards Welling and the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice shop. With everyone running proud in our red Goodgym shirts we never fail to get stares as we weave in and out of people going about their business on the high street.

After just under 2K we arrived at our destination and the smiling face of Lorraine

After just under 2K we arrived at then Community Hospice Shop and the smiling face of Lorraine who was looking after us for the evening. Thanks so much for the water Lorraine. It was appreciated. After gratefully receiving our refreshments it was down to business. We had 4 table tops to paint. I just have to say, it's absolutely brilliant how everyone works together to get our tasks done, and done really well. Bexley Goodgymers you are just brilliant. To top it all, we all made it out paint free, that has to be a fist 😂 The run home was going to be a training run. As I held back and pushed and coached Jackie the stronger runners worked our loop back system. At the end of each path they looped back passed us by 20 yards, then pushed themselves again to pass us till they reached the end of another path to repeat the process again. Guys, you were brilliant. It wasn't long till we were all safely back at base camp Crooklog. Probably my favourite part of the evening, as it's now that we all get together and talk about the task and what we go up to at the weekend. We also made plans for next Sunday as a few of us are running together at the Woodlands 5K near Maidstone. Well, all good things have to come to an end, so until next week Goodgymers 🙌🏻
