Well done to everyone who came along this evening!
Nicola and Georgeta joined me for a 3.5km run to the task, looping into Braywick Park just long enough to breathe in some fresh air and appreciate some beautiful big skies before heading along the tow path through town and beyond to St Luke's Primary School.
There we met Nivi and Juli, who had both opted to walk to the task from home. It was great to see Nivi sporting her new red GG t-shirt as she returned for her third GoodGym session, and to see Juli showing off the black t-shirt she earned this Summer.
Top of the to do list for this evening was filling a large new planter with compost and planting it up with box, cyclamen, pansies and osteospermum. Nivi and Georgeta tackled this with great skill, whilst Juli, Nicola and I pulled weeds out of the rest of the planters and topped them up with compost, then collected up leaves and litter.
Job done, we had time for a fun workout, using resistance bands for added oomph. Then we took a few photos (do you like our superhero pose?) and headed off. Well done to Georgeta and Nicola, who joined me for a 1.5km jog back to our earlier meeting point, where we stretched before saying our goodbyes.
